E-commerce is pretty much up on the heat these day. I'm not too sure, how much of a fans are you guys in e-shopping, but I'm sure everyone's is going to agree with me for the fact that e-commerce is really convenient, and the idea is simply amazing. Yea.. enough of crap really.

You see the title. LOMBOK. So you're going to ask me what is it?

Teehee. It's a Furniture E-Commerce site. Yea.. After coming across this website I find it quite interesting. I think it's a pretty good idea and I can understand why they come up with this business plan. Having to very much expose to business planning lately, I've come across somewhat, a plan for furniture website like this. Personally, I'm very much up to the idea myself.

Lombok have a lot of stores located in UK. But what's really special about this furniture stores is that they are concentrating more on beauty of Asian furniture. Frankly speaking, being an Asian myself, staying in Asia, more precisely, Malaysia, everything around me that are considered modern, is everything to do with the western country. The traditional culture we use to be very proud out, in this case, unique crafting in solid-wood furniture, is being left out long ago. It is simply amazing that today I actually come across a site like Lombok, concentrating in culture we opted to leave out.

Lombok sells original collection of handmade and also affordable solid-wood furniture. From what I read, all the furniture is made by manufacturer in Indonesia ( very asian!). There's a lot of different type of furniture. I think there's pretty much everything, from bed to table, wardrobes, cabinets, mattresses and such, everything I think, you expected to find in a furniture shop. There's also what they classified as lightning and accessories. All of those, home suitable. ^^

What i find really interesting is this accessory - Log Basket. I suppose it's not something you can see everyday in Malaysia. Very pretty, very elegant, rattan-look of basket. It says it's hand woven lol..

Then there's these lamp shades. I know.. you might think it's not very special. What really caught my eyes is the fact that you can choose the base individually to match it with the lamp shade of your choice. So, besides plain selling furniture we can actually create our own from what they have to our liking. I mean.. not every shops provide customization service like that right?

Annndddd, I saw something I haven't seen in for a long time! Laundry basket. Come to think about it, all the laundry basket I see these day are of plastic. So instead of plastic, theirs are made of natural material. I suppose it's very firm and pretty no? By the way.. I like the Water hyacinth laundry basket. :D Although I got to admit.. the laundry basket is a bit too pricey. But considering it's from natural material I suppose it's worth it?

Also, look at this. Get The Look. This part of th web gave you suggestion on how to decorate, and fully furnished your home with their furniture. They show you different example of room of how their products can work, as in how they can be arrange with different combination and such. I think it's pretty cool. It's a online- IKEA like thing.

So, the webbie provides you way to buy it online. They promised delivery within two or three week. You can browse around the site to find more information. Requesting for catalogues, customer services and so on. So there you go, Lombok~
